The Bus service throughout Ireland is quite good.Touring by bus is a good way to see Ireland and local tourist offices have details of tours aswell as prices.

Dublin Bus operates Dublin city’s bus routes running from early morning to late night. Tickets are normally purchased on the bus and it is important where possible to have the exact fair in coins when you board the bus. Check read more  

Getting to and from Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport is well served by regular bus services and taxis.Private and public bus services operate from the airport into Dublin city from early in the morning to midnight daily. These take approx 30 mins.

Luas

The Luas is Dublin’s state of the art tram system and connects you to the city centre from the south / west side of the city. It does not go from the airport . For more information on routes and times check out their website. read more  
Taxis in Dublin

There are plenty of taxis in Dublin and these can be ordered , hailed from the street or taken from a taxi rank. The main taxi ranks are at St Stephen`s Green, College Green or O`Connell Street. Tipping is optional – general guide is approx 10% read more

The Republic of Ireland’s rail service is run by Iarnrod Eireann. Timetables and maps can be found on http://www.irishrail.ie 

The Dart service stretches from the full length of Dublin bay , from Malahide and Howth in north County Dublin to Greystones in County Wicklow.
