Members of the EU, the European Economic Area and Switzerland can claim free medical treatment by getting the European Health Insurance card.Non EU visitors should have private travel insurance or be willing to pay themselves for treatment received. A wide range of medical supplies are available at the pharmacies which are generally within walking distance.

Sales tax or VAT on the purchase of goods is added to the price of goods you see in the store (and not when you get to the till like in some countries) It is usually 21% which non Eu visitors can redeem at airports.
