 Five of them are based in Dublin - two in Clare - two in Cork and one in Waterford .See below for details of these attractions and the numbers attracted to them in 2007.

2. Cliffs of Moher, Clare - 940,455 visitors

3. Dublin Zoo - 900,005 visitors

4. Book of Kells, Dublin - 567,632 visitors

5. National Aquatic Centre, Dublin - 565,085 visitors

6. Blarney Castle, Cork - 401,567 visitors

7. St Patrick`s Cathedral, Dublin - 388,559 visitors

8. Fota Wildlife, Cork - 362,791 visitors

9. Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Clare - 344,000 visitors

10. Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre - 312,000 visitors
